It appears that the authorities didn't open all the gates of the Wivenhoe dam as reported. The level of the river fell today - but the Colleges Crossing Recreation Reserve is still underwater - and, the bridge over the river is still closed.
The alternative route over the Mt Crosby Weir is still a shocker. Potholes mark the unsealed stretch.
