This afternoon - the river height at Colleges Crossing was about 3 metres - about half a metre below the bridge. The 'roman road' track across the lake is threatening to go under water. The dam levels are still at "maximum". Nevertheless, the cafe continues to provide meals and coffee to our customers through the inclement weather that has plaqued the start to summer. The 28-day forecast show a low probability of rain over Christmas and into the first week of January. So it looks like being a sunny Christmas/New Year.
