Our Christmas lunch went well today despite the Wivenhoe dam induced flooding at Colleges Crossing. Congrats to our skeleton staff who coped - and to our customers who ran the blockades. We will be open tomorrow (Wednesday) providing normal service. An added attraction is the rising raging river. The authorities have shifted the road barricades this afternoon at Allawah Road down closer to the bridge. This will allow customers to access the park and the cafe.
A thought: A cup of coffee shared with a friend is happiness tasted and time well spent.
